.Skateboard styles have changed dramatically since the 1970's, but have not changed much since the 1990's

.By the 2000's, skateboarding had grown so much that more people under years old skateboarded ( 10.6 mil.) than played baseball ( 8.2 mil.)

.In 2020, the Olympics in Tokyo will be featuring male and female skateboarding for the first timein history
